HELP! What is the best air purifier to me? I Cats!!?

I live in a small apt. About 800sqft. I have three cats and live in a place where there is a lot of trees and flowers. Economic need something to help with cat dander, dust mites and allergy season, also not very strong and has a timer. I've heard from some flaws that require filters is better? I'm looking at the T300 Allen and New Brookstone Pure Ion Advanced. Any advice? /
