Any person has the ficus tree air purifier?? Does it really work?

I am looking to buy an air purifier. I have an apartment quite small. So I'm looking to cool a little. I dont really want to spend over $ 150. Ficus tree I saw one and it looks good, as it seems a plant. Any suggestions?
