UV also known as Ultra Violet, works through the use of radiation. It sounds really strange? Well, somehow I guess it is. But keep in mind, the same radiation that kills germs, pollen, bacteria, smoke, is not the same type of radiation that will hurt you. This is a small, controlled "substance" allowing the "germs" that flow into the air purifier and get touched with UV light. These UV rays will not even irritate the skin or anything like that. The UV light tube is made specifically to be used only for the destruction of germs around your home.
Most of these purifiers are very small, clean one to two rooms or one floor of his residence. However, I've seen a few on the market that purify the air in your entire house. These units are slightly smaller than an air conditioner placed on your window and definitely not as bulky. I like UV purifiers always highly valued because by people, but it will not cost an arm and a leg. This is one of the most important to me. I am quite willing to pay a few hundred something I will to help, but for me, the product must have been some good reviews from consumers. It's a good idea in general to always look for reviews of the products before you buy something online or off!
