Are there good quiet air purifiers can I buy?
Now it is spring, my allergies are getting worse. Does anyone recommend a good air purifier? My biggest concern is the noise level (and of course how well it removes particulates). Also, do not want an ionic purifier due to the ozone layer, and usually are not as effective as HEPA. I've heard of the Blueair air purifiers, but I think they are a bit expensive. Are there cheaper, but quiet air purifiers still around? Or do you pay what you get? If you have any, please give me some air cleaner recommendations. I have heard ionic wind to speak of, but I'm worried about the ozone layer which emits. Also, do not do well in removing particles. Someone please recommend a brand or model should I look?
