How much of the cost of air purifiers in the house?

Two children have allergies, 1 had asthma, and our house is extremely dusty. I want to reduce dust, no attention both to kill bacteria and viruses in the air, so you do not need top-of-the-line system (unless it is under $ 5K). You need to cover 1800 square feet.
