The dust in my house is taking over …. Y???? PLEASE HELP?
I powder 1 day and the next day or 2 is like it never shook me. My air vents up top. Is there anything that needs to be cleaned (such as ducts???) But I also have this problem in the summer. I see these air purifiers on television and I wonder if that really helps. Please help, my allergies seem to be getting worse, and I'm spending too much on wipes promise!
A filter air will help to reduce dust, but only the type of filter NOT Ionic "air purification" as the ionic breeze and imitations … creating ozone worsen allergies and does absolutely nothing for the dust anyway. You may want to have local Sears or HVAC company come out and inspect the tubes to see if you need cleaning. You can also try another type of air filter for your heating and air conditioning system as a 3M Filtrete filter in place of the old-fashioned fiber filters glass type. They are a bit more expensive, but only have to change out every 3 months instead of every month, so it actually saves you some money. Also cleaned and swiffers undertake not do a good job at repelling the dust like a good old furnature polish, multi-polished surface of glass and wood works well too. wearing t-shirts old cloth diaper or sprayed with furnature polish … (a pledge, Old English, store brand, whatever) will repel dust and keep surfaces clean for more time searching. As for allergies, a HEPA air filter is your best choice, Austin air makes a very nice and filters should be changed only every 5 years, a purify unit 1500 feet in 10 minutes! Try to keep your bare floors, traps dust mites from carpets is a major cause of allergies, also wash the bedding twice a week with bleach (if possible) and invest in the top of a good mattress and pillow covers allergens. Also check with your doctor to find out if there is a prescription that can help with your indoor allergies
