Sleep with their babies OK if the parent is sick?
We co-sleep, although it may be common sense for some – my concern is: DS, 18 months, recently had a virus (on Monday) – I thought happened (Wednesday), but raised it ugly head with new symptoms at night Thursday – there was vomiting and fever, runny nose now / cough … But he was starting to improve and today, Monday had little / no cough and a runny nose dry – but I was getting worse (my symptoms began on Thurs) and end of the day, it seems that the runny nose was back and getting worse! Obviously, we're going to front and rear. Q: If I move to another room and left him alone to be with his dad? Note: I'm still BF and night nursing. Not intend to BF stop, but should I not sleep with the children until they are of better quality … Or does not matter at this point b / c that is already exposed … In addition to running a humidifier and air purifier in the room … Help? Thanks in advance.
First I want to say yes to co-sleep! My husband and I have had a family bed with the son of our 27 months of age since the day he was born and still nurse at night, too. My husband and I have had to face some unpleasant etc. influenza the past 2 years and have found it has been one of the healthiest children his age (even our doctor says so)! We also have a great group of friends baby (10 2 years old!) and out of our group is the only other co-sleeping babe and he and his friend have been healthier than the rest. Your nurse is to follow an excellent plan because it will benefit from the antibodies produced. One thing about the humidifier, just make sure you change the water every day or you may start harmful bacteria to grow is not good for either of you! 
Keep up the good work mom, attachment parenting is certainly not the easiest to take, but it seems to be the most rewarding (especially the pampering of the night).
