Ecoquest Air Purifier
Good Air Purifier?
What is the best air purifier for removing dust and smell? I've been looking on eBay and is almost certain Ecoquest cart (with HEPA filter, UV, ionizer, and an ozone generator). The only thing that still prevents me from buying this FOM ($ 219) is the generator Ozone can trigger asthma. I am asthmatic. Anyone with a good experience with a very good air purifier? You can only afford <$ 300 and does not consume much electricity, with low maintenance. Thank you.
I recommend against getting an ozone generator or ionizer. They are the same thing and aggravate asthma. The theory behind the ionizer and ozonator is the creation of ozone, while "ionizing dust particles to which accumulate in the filter.
