My Dyson emits odors – need new HEPA filter?
I love sucking on my Dyson vacuum cleaner, but in the last week began issuing a unpleasant smell (not burning, just dirty). I cleaned the canister thoroughly, but there are still foul-smelling air that comes out when you're at. Is it necessary to replace HEPA filter?
I work for a shop selling Dyson. Dyson is representative of all the time to answer people's questions. that is one of the questions he was asked the last time I was there. you need to clean out the filter every 3 monthes at least. I also suggest you take a duster and clean the cylinder. If the vacuum cleaner regularly it will last you a long time. If all else fails and the smell still exists contact Dyson. there have been times when you really have sent a representative to peoples houses to find out what is wrong. good luck.
