What is the best type of air purifier?

I have very bad allergies and I live in a dusty area. Do they also get rid of dust, because I like dusting, because I have a lot of surfaces and its super annoying. I've been looking in the Ionic Breeze and Honeywell with a HEPA filter.

I have an Ionic Pro and I really like. But this does not prevent accumulation of dust. Seems to have reduced, but still have to dust (with a damp cloth so it does not go back on the air and down again).
