In 1891 London, Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey, Jr.) and Dr. John Watson (Jude Law), the race to prevent a human sacrifice ritual performed by Lord Blackwood (Mark Strong). Watson is free bail for Miss Morstan, while Holmes takes to the Temple of the four orders, an occult-dabbling secret society. Blackwood reveal their leaders was a former member and advocate for Holmes to help stop it.
