Wilson Harrell – "Just for Entrepreneurs"

What does it take to become a successful entrepreneur in the business world today? Well, there are many giants of business you could ask for, but it would be difficult to find anyone better than Wilson Harrell. Read about a country boy who became a guru marketing and entrepreneur. He is simply a business legend.

Born in Georgia, 1919, Wilson Harrell, world renowned entrepreneur and marketing guru was a man of strong convictions. In his large business trip, he lived a glamorous life all through. Not everyone knows that Wilson was a fighter pilot in World War II and received the Purple Heart, Air medal with 4 oak leaf and also mention President.

It all began with Wilson Harrell & Company started by Fred Wilson after war. The company distributes products for the mass market Kraft military PX and much less time in the company's sales reached $ 200 million. But Wilson had other ideas, he sold the distribution company. Then he bought the Formula 409, a cleaner home products company for $ 30,000 and turned it over. Later, he sold the company for $ 7 million and purchased 60 food brokerage firms whose total sales exceeded $ 500 million.

In total, Wilson began more 100 companies and turned a few. He was voted no.1 America columnist for 1995 and 1996 by the American Society of Business, for their monthly contribution to the success Magazine. Wilson was also the former editor of Inc. magazine. Throughout the founder and Chairman of the growing companies, the organization at national, Wilson was also the leader and voice of the movement in the U.S. employer. His book "For entrepreneurs only" was a
best-seller and remains one of the most admired in this genre.

In his book, spoke of hunters and farmers in the Age caveman. His reasoning of science and variety of studies that genes are transmitted and often employers are the children of entrepreneurs. At some point thousands of years ago, entrepreneurs were the hunters of our world while farmers tend to be employed.

He was a great success in life and died in 1997 at the age of 78 from lung cancer.
