My search for the best air purifier

Because of allergies and asthma that I have owned more than 56 air purifiers since 1974. And even became in a health professional in 1982 due to the way they overcame allergies and asthma naturally.

I have owned: ozone air purifiers, air purifiers Ionic, Zeolite, HEPA air cleaners, ultraviolet light, air purifiers catalytic plate, air purifiers and water brnad namesincluding – Alpine Air, EcoQuest, Hunter, Panasonic, Austin, IQAir, Sunair, and about 23 other "no name" Chinese brands. (I avoided ionic Sharper Image and Oreck simply just because does not do enough for me.)

So I'll say I've seen it all.

Last year Austin, IQAir, Oreck and Sharper Image (their new models, non-ionic breeze) made me an offer to distribute their products.

I said no.

Here's why:

The failure to replace filter air purifiers do a great job

The idea sounds great, but once you've seen a dirty HEPA filter (HEPA is a cloth that acts as a filter that contains dust and pollution) is aware of no filters are not making a lot of dust or pollen – the lungs of ARE!

Oreck models (they contradict themselves in their website. You have to replace the filters, but are not HEPA)

Air Purifiers 2.3 in Japan include additional replacement filters. WHY? Because the Japanese are ahead.
U.S. Manufacturers American has not think ahead so overloaded. Once you purchase an air purifier that'll be stuck paying what they ask for. (It reminds me of my inkjet printer 89 dollars for the replacement cartridges are $ 28!)
Remedy: Ask for filter prices first. Every 6-12 months you will have to change filters. And no more than $ 25 is too much.
Shopping Tip: ask for an additional discount on replacement filters before buying.

Most air purifiers do not footage Square Box

The wonder is that more manufacturers are producing air purifiers that include multiple forms of technology.

CONCLUSION: For an air purifier that has a HEPA, and 3-5 additional technologies, such as UV rays and ions. Stay away from infomercial brands, such as price marking is high. Expect to pay $ 250-325 (and not pay more). Ensure that replacement filters are reasonably priced.
