ionic air purifier problems

Cat problem …?

Sometime around the time my mother died when I was very vulnerable, a cat appeared around my house. The I took against the rules of my lease, and then discovered that my best friend is very allergic to cats. I knew it was so difficult for her, but becomes very ill and has not been more since I had the cat. The cat is gone, but I need to get rid of the allergens they left behind, I want my friend back! I have an ionic air purifier, how is this going to help? I carpeted surfaces and also vinyl flooring, soft furniture, not far from my bed and a chair. Add to this I'm going through the house to finally Declutter behind my late mother and sort items to send to family members … so the cleaning process will be harder because I have to change things that are in limbo. I will not steam clean the carpets, I did this recently and can not afford or time. Any other price, easy solutions? Products?

She is allergic to cat dander. Empty, well, dust and wash the floors. That should do. this isn't the skin or smell, is dandruff
