As autumn begins, the statistics of allergic reactions go through the roof. About 50 million Americans suffer from seasonal allergies caused by pollen Ragweed and other weeds, and mold spores. 2. Eat healthy. Make sure your diet is rich in vitamin C, which can boost your immune system and acts as a natural antihistamine. You can also take about 1000 mg of vitamin C daily to ward himself allergic to ragweed and other seasonal allergies. Omega-3 rich foods such as flaxseed, salmon, and nuts also help.
3. Magnesium can also help you breathe easier. About 400 mg is ideal according to immunologists.
Consult your doctor for allergy to be tested for allergies. Most times, people who have allergies are also sensitive to some foods that normally have. Some people who are allergic birch pollen, for example, also react to potatoes, carrots, and apples. Ragweed allergy is more severe if not react well to a glass of milk.
