Air purifiers are ozone harmful?
I have allergies, like my 7 year old daughter. I seem to always have a sinus infection or an infection of heard. I bought the machine thinking that $ 500 would help the air quality in our house, but now I'm thinking it could have been a great waste of money. When I bought the system, which could smell strong in the ozone layer of the house … now can not smell at all. The machine has been studied and its fine. I'm still getting infections and, sometimes I think that ozone can be harmful to us. Does anyone know anything about ozone air purifiers? Thank you!
I want to trust your intuition on this one – the air quality is so important. I've never tried an air purifier ozone because I was worried about possible health risks. I'm no expert, but only consulted a professional healthy house and warns against them. Have you considered a HEPA filter (either in your oven, or perhaps in the rooms)? (At least, could you stop using the ozone machine to see if your symptoms go away?) Blessings to you and your daughter.
